A working smoke detector can be one of the best ways to prevent families from losing their lives when their home catches fire. However, what do you do if you are deaf or hearing impaired?

Solutions 2011 is accepting and approving applications that will help with the installation of free smoke alarms that meet the needs of the deaf or hearing impaired.

A new grant is available for residents living in the following counties to receive the assistance:

  • Canadian County
  • Kingfisher County
  • Logan County
  • Oklahoma County
  • Lincoln County
  • Cleveland County
  • Pottawatomie County
  • Payne County
  • Creek County
  • Okmulgee County
  • Wagoner County
  • Tulsa County
  • Pawnee County
  • Osage County
  • Rogers County
  • Washington County
